Welcome to Ticketoc! Before creating an account, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By signing up, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms, and you provide informed consent to the processing of your personal data.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on the Ticketoc platform (web or app), you:

  • Agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions;
  • Acknowledge that you have read and understood our [Privacy Policy];
  • Consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your personal data.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


2. Data Collection & Purpose

Upon sign-up and during use, we collect personal data including but not limited to:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Location Data (if applicable)
  • Event Preferences
  • Payment and Transactional Information (via third-party payment providers)

We process this data to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Enable ticket purchases, bookings, and digital access;
  • Deliver customer support and event updates;
  • Send optional promotional content (with opt-in only);
  • Improve our user experience and platform features.

3. Data Processing, Sharing, and Third-Party Services

We may disclose personal data to:

  • Event organizers (only when you purchase or RSVP to an event);
  • Licensed third-party service providers (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools);
  • Government authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

Ticketoc does not sell your personal data to any third party.

All third-party vendors and partners we work with are contractually required to uphold data protection standards equal to or greater than ours.


4. Data Security & Breach Management

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:

  • End-to-end encryption (SSL)
  • Role-based access controls
  • Secure cloud storage
  • Regular security audits

In the unlikely event of a data breach, Ticketoc will:

  • Notify affected users within 72 hours (or as required by law);
  • Disclose the nature and scope of the breach;
  • Take remedial actions to mitigate damages.

However, Ticketoc shall not be held liable for:

  • Unauthorized access arising from user negligence (e.g., sharing passwords);
  • Force majeure events (e.g., cyberattacks despite best efforts);
  • Breaches caused by third parties outside our control despite due diligence.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password;
  • Ensuring the information you provide is true and updated;
  • Using the platform in a lawful and non-malicious manner.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ticketoc shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from data misuse;
  • Losses resulting from inaccurate or outdated user information;
  • Business interruptions or missed events due to platform downtime.

Any claim must be filed within one (1) year of the alleged breach.


7. User Rights Under Data Privacy Law

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent (without affecting prior lawful processing)
  • Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (for PH users)

Ticketoc may revise these Terms and our Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.


9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any disputes shall be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Taguig City, Metro Manila.
